We were asked by the retail innovation team at Costa to support the development of a new retail format concept targeting the ‘Metropolitan’ elements of their real estate - typically the more premium ‘London-village’ locations outside of the city and West End.
We designed and facilitated a series of workshops with the client team and their branding and interiors agencies, Edge and ODA (Our Design Agency) to co-create the new concept, which was initially successfully trialled in Wandsworth Town, then provided the blueprint for the Costa rollout in China and SE Asia.
