**oldham& is 10 years old today!**

People start businesses for lots of different reasons. For me, after twenty years in large and small agencies I wanted to try working in a different way. My 'insight' was that agencies often limit their ability to deliver the best solutions for clients by constraining themselves to the resources they have in-house - they use whoever has time rather than who has the best skills and experience for the task. I decided that I wanted to leverage my network and focus on putting together project teams based on the best people for the job - the '&' of oldham& is there to represent partnership.

This notion of partnership is vitally important: when I work with colleagues on projects together, we operate as partners and equals - one person may be the main point of contact with the client, but there is no hierarchy in the team ... we are all experts in our areas and we bring all our knowledge and experience to the table. We're transparent from the start about expectations and equally transparent about fees and income. It's a very refreshing way to work.

So, as I reflect on ten years in business as oldham& consulting, as well as the wonderful clients we've been privileged to work with on some exciting and important projects, I think about the brilliant partners I've had the great pleasure of working with - building friendships and delivering great client projects, including: Hanne Kristiansen Tony Franco Emily Hayes Marie Walters Dan Higgott Sarah McKenna Kate Rapacchi Will Knight Eleanor Pletts Jim Cogan Richard Korb Martha McPherson Chris Walter Anne Laure Frossard Demir Kılıç Arslantürk Alex Dharmawan Chris Lynch Ralph Schwarz Aaron Rothwell Guy Harrison
